Whilst Speaking of Food we also offer a picnic lunch for day trips or Trip home or even a late night snack after your show ready in the fridge for your arrival back home on the night (£7.50pp extra).
Due to smaller Guest Numbers than many other properties and a larger variety menu, Guests are invited to inform us of their Breakfast Choices by 6pm the evening before. This allows us to ensure that we have the freshest and most delicious ingredients and foods available for you.
Many People ask the Question “Who is it that likes birds then?” due to having many bird ornaments around the Dining Room. My answer is always “Well these Capodimonte birds actually belonged to Paul’s mother Eileen. When she passed away these were left to us and I said to Paul that they really were not out taste but they were so lovely I really didn’t want to let them go by just giving them away or selling. I then had the idea and asked Paul the question “What do you have in the morning?” and the answer is “The Dawn Chorus from the Birds plus also you have your breakfast”. So I said why don’t we call the Breakfast Room ‘The Dawn Chorus Dining Room’. So this is how it was born and why we have all these birds around the dining room to which I have added many and all in memory of Eileen Sinnott who really was a truly special lady who is now sadly missed on a daily basis.
